Charitable Activities

Each year Polarn O. Pyret sponsors a design contest for children called:

MY. T

Children are asked to design an image for an original T-shirt that best represents the year’s theme. The theme in 2008 was “Circus.” This year, the theme is “Save the World.”

After all the designs are submitted, Polarn O. Pyret’s design team in Stockholm selects six winning images. Polarn O. Pyret then produces a limited-edition collection of t-shirts based on the winning designs.

A different, theme-appropriate charity is chosen every year to receive a portion of the sales from the t-shirts. In 2008, “Clowns without Borders” received donations from Polarn O. Pyret. In 2009, Garissa - girls home in Kenya, will receive donations for its work in that country providing education and shelter to girls and young women in need.
